Karisa Cervantes joined our practice in 2024. She received her Bachelor’s from Western Oregon University in 2018 and Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry in 2023. During clinical rotations she gained experience in Primary Care, Specialty Contact Lenses, Vision Therapy, and Ocular Disease. Dr. Cervantes worked closely with ophthalmologists in Eugene to provide post-op care after cataract and corneal surgeries. Although she loves all areas of optometry, her focus lies with contact lenses. She takes great pride in fitting patients into specialty contacts, specifically scleral contact lenses, to provide comfort from dry eye and optimal vision that is otherwise unattainable with a pair of glasses or regular soft contact lenses. As you get to know Dr. Cervantes, you will learn she brings personalized and genuine care to every patient interaction!

Dr. Cervantes was born and raised in Prineville. She is excited to return “home” to give back to the communities that helped her get where she is today. Outside of eye care, she enjoys camping, hiking, fishing, baking, and dancing. Dr. Cervantes and her husband, Aldo, also enjoy spending time together with friends/family and their two dogs; Siris and Neby.
